Playing evil plantation owner Calvin Candie, DiCaprio cracks a smile with his quirky acting as he first meets Jamie Foxx's titular character in 'Candyland'.

's antics are highlighted in a new clip for "". Coming out via Yahoo!, the snippet sees DiCaprio's Calvin Candie as he first meets 's titular character in his house. Django offers a cynical answer when Candie asks something about himself. Instead of loosing his cool, Candie manages to light up the situation with his quirky manner.

Another clip from "Django" comes out via IGN, focusing on Django's serious conversation with his comrade Dr. King Schultz (). Schultz seems to have obtained information that Django's wife is in "Candyland" and warns the freed slave not to "get so carried away" or they both will get killed. Additionally, IMDb debuts a snippet that sees a scene between and .

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, "Django Unchained" is about a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz. Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles - dead or alive.

Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South's most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda, the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.

Django and Schultz's search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie, the proprietor of "Candyland," an infamous plantation. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (L. Jackson), Candie's trusted house slave. Their moves are marked, and a treacherous organization closes in on them. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda, they must choose between independence and solidarity, between sacrifice and survival.

The spaghetti Western film, which has just received five nominations at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, will be released on Christmas Day, December 25.
