Carly Rae Jepsen Added as Performer of 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards

The 'Call Me Maybe' singer is joined in the lineup by two other new acts Rita Ora and Fun. and three previously-confirmed performers Taylor Swift, No Doubt and Muse.

, along with and , is added to the lineup of 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards. They join previously-announced musical guests , and to make live performances in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11.

"This will be my first time at the MTV EMA, and I am beyond thrilled - feeling like a lucky duck for the nominations and the chance to perform," the "Call Me Maybe" hitmaker gushed. "Now the only concern is what to wear?! Let the party begin, Frankfurt."

Fun. chimed in, "It's so incredible that we'll be playing at the MTV EMA, when not that long ago not many people knew who we were in Europe! It just feels like that dream most people don't get to experience." Rita was equally thrilled, "Let's have some fun this year."

Carly, Rita and Fun. are all nominated for Best New Artist this year. They are vying for the coveted title along with two other rising stars and . The threesome faces off one another again in Best PUSH category. Leading the nomination list with five nods is Taylor Swift.
