Nas Brings Amy Winehouse Back to Life in 'Cherry Wine' Music Video

Set in a dimly lit bar, the clip shows the late 'Rehab' hitmaker being projected on a brick wall as she performs the hook of the song.

brings back to life in his latest music video for "Cherry Wine". The Brooklyn rapper is featured playing a bartender who falls into the seduction of a sexy lady. The late soulstress, meanwhile, is seen performing the hook of the song via a projection on a brick wall in the dimly lit bar.

"Cherry Wine" marks the second collaboration between Nas and Amy. They previously worked together in "Like Smoke", which was featured in the British diva's 2011 posthumous album "". Both songs were produced by Salaam Remi, who was also the man behind Amy's albums "" and "".

Speaking to NME about the collab with Remi, the 39-year-old MC said, "Yeah, Salaam worked on her last album, and they were working. We don't even have an explanation for how it happened." He gushed, "It was just magic. It just happened. It was supposed to happen. She made it happen."

Nas recently also told MTV News that it was very important to him to feature the "Rehab" hitmaker in his new album "". He said, "It was important for me to have Amy Winehouse because that's what we were doing. That was the direction me and her were going in, to work. It's hard to talk about it because she's missed and she's one of a kind. I think it's a magic moment between us, me and her, and may she rest in peace and love."

Nas' "Life Is Good" has sold 301,000 copies since it was released Stateside on July 13. The "Daughters" rhymer is set to throw a live performance at the Virgin Mobile FreeFest in Baltimore this coming Saturday, October 6.
