Oprah Winfrey Agrees to Appear on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

The 'Oprah's Next Chapter' host has reportedly signed the release to let footage of their recent interview be used on the family's reality show on E!.

AceShowbiz - After scoring an interview with the Kardashians, Oprah Winfrey may return the favor by appearing on the famed family's reality show. It has been reported that the "Oprah's Next Chapter" host has agreed to guest star on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".

A source told Us Weekly that the former daytime talk-show queen "was so enamored with the clan" that "Oprah signed the release!," meaning that footage from her recent visit to the family's pad can be used on the E! reality show.

The source additionally gushed that Winfrey and Khloe Kardashian bonded during the interview. "She and Khloe especially hit it off. Khloe had her dying laughing," the source revealed. "It meant so much because she loves Oprah!"

Kim Kardashian, meanwhile, almost made Winfrey cry when talking about her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. "I've obviously made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime, but I'm not the type to sit and beat myself up over it. If a real lesson was learned, I'm so okay with having experienced that," the 31-year-old reality star confessed, to which the host reply, "That is so perfect I could weep."

The Kardashians drew a big rating for OWN, with the second-part of the interview aired on Sunday, June 24 pulling in 1.2 million viewers. It was up 9|percent| from the first part, which aired the week before.

Although the family's appearance gave a boost to the struggling network's rating, Lisa Ling who serves as a special correspondent for Winfrey's cable channel recently said, "I had my issues with the Kardashians, absolutely. I think there's so much wrong with how they are the most revered family in the country, but they are, nevertheless."

Still, she understood Winfrey's decision to enlist them on her talk show. "So I get why Oprah wanted to interview them. I mean, they are icons in pop culture right now," the journalist told Access Hollywood Live. "People are interested in what they think about things for some strange reason."
