Sister duo Serena Williams and Venus Williams, meanwhile, are competing against each other in Sportswoman of the Year which also includes Candace Parker as another contender.

AceShowbiz - Nominees for this year's BET Awards have been revealed. In sport category, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are vying against each for Sportswoman of the Year. The two basketball players are joined in the battle by two other NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Durant, as well as footballer Victor Cruz.

Samuel L. Jackson serves as a host, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj will perform along with Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.
