The tape of the emergency call made by a security officer at the Beverly Hilton hotel is released after the Beverly Hills Police Department officially closed investigation into Houston's death.

AceShowbiz - A recording of the 911 call made by a security officer at the Beverly Hilton hotel after Whitney Houston was found facedown in a bathtub on February 11 has finally been released. The tape uncovers that there was some confusion about the situation because the woman in the singer's room, who called the hotel security, kept hanging up.

"I need paramedics, apparently I've got a 46-year-old female, found in the bathroom," a man identifying himself as "security from the Beverly Hilton" first informed the 911 operator. He went on to admit, "That's all I've got right now, but they're requesting paramedics," before adding, "I'm not sure if she fell, or if she was in the bathroom with the water."

Asked if the female in need of medical assistance is "conscious or breathing", the hotel employee said, "Apparently she wasn't breathing." The 911 operator then asked, "But she's breathing now?" To which question, the caller said, "I don't know." He added a few seconds later, "The person that called me was irate and pretty much out of it."

When the operator asked if he could be patched through to the room to provide CPR instructions over the phone, the hotel security replied, "No, because she keeps hanging up on us." The dispatcher then promised to get emergency personnel to the hotel right away.

The 911 call was released to the public after the Beverly Hills Police Department announced on Wednesday, April 11 that the investigation into Houston's death is "officially closed". A police statement read, "Based on the findings of our investigation and our review of the coroner's report, we have determined that this is not a criminal matter."

Houston passed away on February 11. She was found underwater and unconscious in bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. On March 22, it was announced that she died of accidental drowning with atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use being the contributing factors.

Houston's final autopsy report was released on April 4, revealing the late singer complained of a sore throat before taking a bath to get ready for Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party. According to the report, the singer was found face down in the bathtub in 13 inches of "extremely hot" water when her assistant returned to the hotel room after running an errand.
