The report notes that the late 'Bodyguard' star was found face down in the bathtub with a bloody purge coming from her nose, while a spoon with a 'white crystal like substance' was found in the room.

AceShowbiz - Whitney Houston's final autopsy report has just been released on Wednesday, April 4, revealing more details on her condition when officials arrived at the death scene, her suit at the Beverly Hilton hotel, on February 11. According to the report, the late singer complained of a sore throat before taking a bath to get ready for Clive Davis' pre-Grammys party.

When her assistant returned to the hotel room after running an errand, Houston was found face down in the bathtub in 13 inches of "extremely hot" water, which caused a burn on her back. The report also noted a "bloody purge" coming out of Houston's nose, as well as minor abrasions on her face, arms and legs.

A possible old needle puncture wound was spotted on Houston's inner left elbow, while in the bathroom, there was "a small spoon with a white crystal like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper." Police additionally found multiple bottles of prescription medication and some loose pills scattered around her room.

Kristy McCracken of the Beverly Hills Police Department wrote in her final report that Houston "possibly overdosed on a narcotic substance, prescription medications, over the counter medications and alcohol." Her body was described as being "well built, muscular and fairly well nourished."

Last month, it was announced that her primary cause of death was drowning, which was "due to, or as a consequence of" the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use. Marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl and other medication were found in her system, but they did not contribute to her death.

Houston was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey on February 19 in a private, invite-only burial.
