Joshua Ledet, Skylar Laine and Elise Testone are among those who are voted by America to go to the next round, while Erika Van Pelt, Jeremy Rosado and Deandre Brackensick are saved by the wildcards.

AceShowbiz - The first live result show of "American Idol" season 11 has unveiled the 13 singers who will continue their journey on the show. Those who got the top 10 votes from America are Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Hollie Cavanagh, Joshua Ledet, Heejun Han, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon and Jermaine Jones.
The judges agreed with the picks of America and said that they would not have changed choice. They later gave another shot to six contestants who hadn't been declared safe. Jen Hirsh, Jeremy Rosado, Brielle Von Hugel, Deandre Brackensick, Erika Van Pelt and Reed Grimm, who were initially sent to the side along with the likes of Adam Brock, Hallie Day and Eben Franckewitz, were called to perform once again.
After all six of them sang for their lives, the judges announced the three wildcards. Randy Jackson chose to save Erika, Jennifer Lopez picked Jeremy, and Steven Tyler chose Deandre to round up the Top 13.
Beside the announcement of the Top 13, the Thursday, March 1 episode of "Idol" also featured comments from record producer Jimmy Iovine on the contestants. He criticized the unoriginal song choices and deemed some finalists as being unoriginal. The judges did not completely agree with him as J.Lo told him to "come to the show" instead of watching it on "a little monitor."
One of Jimmy's harsh comments was directed to Heejun. "This guy confuses me. This isn't American Comedian, this is 'American Idol'," he said of the young singer. However, he praised Colton as saying, "He could really win this thing."
Jimmy also had nothing but good words for Hollie, gushing, "Little girl, big voice." As for Skylar, he shared his thought, "She blends soul with country, the judges love her, I think a lot of the country's going to vote for her."
