'Smash' 1.05 Sneak Peeks: Ivy Feels Humiliated, Derek Wants to Replace Her
TV

Derek is not pleased with Ivy's performance, but Tom does not support Derek's idea of recasting the lead role in 'Marilyn the Musical'.

AceShowbiz - Ivy does not completely secure the lead role in "Marilyn the Musical". Not pleased with Ivy's performance during rehearsal, Derek thinks about replacing her in the next episode of "Smash", but he won't likely get support from Tom.

Ivy feels humiliated by Derek after being stopped while singing, and senses trouble in her relationship with the director at the same time. She also shows no sign that she will put aside her rivalry with Karen when the newcomer tries to convince her that she is not a threat to the veteran actress.

In the meantime, Karen finds a new use for her acting talents as she joins Dev (guest star Raza Jaffrey) at a high-powered government party. Things between Michael (guest star Will Chase) and Julia heat up, as Eileen and Tom's ambitious assistant Ellis forge an alliance.

"Let's Be Bad" will air Monday, March 5 at 10/9c on NBC.
