Although he has just lost a classic Mercedes Benz, the 'From Paris With Love' actor still manages to make light of the situation and compare the theft to 'Gone in 60 Seconds'.

AceShowbiz - John Travolta does not let his stolen car make him down. Talking about the recent incident, the 57-year-old actor still managed to poke fun at the theft by comparing it to a Hollywood movie and noting that he's lucky because his private Boeing 707 jet is safe in its hangar.
Speaking to E! News at a Bombardier event in Burbank Airport on Tuesday, September 20, the husband of Kelly Preston recalled the moment he lost his car. He said, "I was out looking for Jaguars and it was a beautiful, spotless dealerships and I left it parked on the side."
"And eight to ten minutes later, my car was gone. And it's like that movie, 'Gone in 60 Seconds', like, who can explain it?" the actor who will play mobster John Gotti in upcoming biopic "Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father" added. "But at least it wasn't a jet, though that might be easier to find."
Travolta has his own pilot license since 1974 and he regularly flies his wife and children to travel around the world. He also signed on as a brand ambassador for Bombardier Aircraft. "I frankly just love being in the air, I just love the sensation of flying," he admitted.
The "Saturday Night Fever" star has planned to take his family for a longer plane ride to Paris and Australia next November. "[Kelly's] very proud of me," he said before adding, "She loves flying, the kids love flying, it's a family event."
Travolta's 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL, which can sell as much as $100,000, went missing from a parking lot in Santa Monica on Sunday, September 18. The actor was at the time doing a business in a Jaguar dealer a couple of blocks away. Upon learning that his classic Benz has gone, he returned to the store and called the police, but there were reportedly no witnesses.
