The two 'American Idol' graduates no longer have 'bad blood' with one another after Durbin offered peace and Lambert accepted it kindly.

AceShowbiz - Adam Lambert and James Durbin have settled their feud. It was James who first contacted Adam via Twitter. "Hey dude! Id really enjoy grabbing some lunch with you and just talking about all this Idol/Post Idol stuff!" wrote the former contestant of "American Idol" season 10.
He continued, "I could really use some one on one advice. Regardless of any supposed bad blood, Im calling truce :) Anyway.thats me. Glad your tour is goin great. direct message me if this is something that you might be interested in doing. Thanks for the consideration! :)"
Lambert who was in a flight back from U.K. jokingly responded, "haha why don't we just go ahead and discuss it right now over twitter? I'd be honored to advise... :) #nobadblood." The aspiring singer replied, "well as much as they'd love it..just as u don't wanna spoil ur album, I don't wanna spoil anything lol." He then added his posting with a question, "You understand right?"
Responding to the message, the "Whataya Want From Me" singer answered, "oh I definitely understand." After clearing up the issue, Durbin quickly posted another tweet, "just think about it. If youre free, hit me up. Im just not the 'twitter business meeting' type. thanks anyway, brother. :-/ I'll be in the LA area all month..you know the deal :)" Lambert then replied with an "ok ;)."
The two male singers actually have drawn comparison to each other, but they later sparked feud rumor after Lambert commented to THR last month that he was not impressed with Durbin's singing talent. "I think he's got talent and passion 100 percent but I feel like he's trying way too hard. Also, his niche is so limited with the metal," he said back then.
"When he did that 'Heavy Metal' song (by Sammy Hagar), James was note-perfect," he added his criticism. "He was on pitch, which is usually kind of an issue, and I think he sounded really good, but it felt like a copycat. I didn't feel like I was seeing an original artist yet. And I'm not saying he doesn't have that in him, but it hasn't been showing."
Later in the month, Durbin fired back at the 2009 "Idol" runner-up. "I was nothing (but) nice to that guy," he said when reacting to Lambert's statement. "And, you know, he decided to take it to a different level. Whatever!" He added that they have different styles, "I don't know what the comparison's all about. He sings pop and electronic, and I sing rock and metal."
