The 'How I Met Your Mother' actor and his stage entertainer partner welcomed twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace into the world on October 12.

AceShowbiz - Alicia Keys is not the only one who is happy about welcoming a bundle of joy this week. Gay star Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka have also become fathers to twin babies on Tuesday, October 12, naming them Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.
On Friday, October 15, "How I Met Your Mother" star Harris shared his baby news on his Twitter page, writing "Babies!! On 10/12, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace entered the Burtka-Harris fold. All of us are happy, healthy, tired, and a little pukey."
The twins, who were born via a surrogate, are first kids for Harris and stage entertainer Burtka who already has another set of twins with his former lover, film producer Lane Janger. Harris and Burtka have been together since 2004.
The couple announced that they were expecting the twins back in August. The "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" actor shared on his micro-blogging site, "David and I are expecting twins this fall. We're super excited/nervous/thrilled."
