New Scenes of 'Dexter' Available via Behind-the-Scene

Michael C. Hall, James Lemar and the other cast dive into the thought of Dexter after the tragedy that left him scarred and actually feel 'human'.

A newly-released behind-the-scene of "" not only gives away an actors' perspective of what will happen to the serial killer after Rita's death but also new scenes which will be found in season 5. took the time to pick out Dexter's train of thought, saying the character is no longer innocent and is smeared with Rita's blood.

There is a scene where Astor blames Dexter for her mother's death and her not believing that he actually cares about it. Quinn, who has rubbed Dexter the wrong way in the past, plants an idea into Laguerta's mind about the possibility of Dexter as the murderer. Meanwhile, Debra breaks down at the thought of her unable to crack her brother's mind.

"Dexter" returns to Showtime on September 26 at 9/8c.

The series is nominated at the upcoming Primetime Emmy Awards as Outstanding Drama alongside "", "", "", "" and "". Hall is also nominated as Outstanding Actor while last season's villain has won the Outstanding Guest Actor nod at Creative Arts Emmys earlier this week. The Primetime Emmys takes place Sunday, August 29 and is aired live by NBC starting at 8 P.M. ET/ 5 P.M. PT.
