Two days away from the pilot screening, the stars of the new series by TV Land came out to celebrate at a red carpet event in New York.

AceShowbiz - Betty White showed her best smile when attending the special red carpet event for "Hot in Cleveland". The television world's hottest commodity showed her support to the new TV Land series by coming to the premiere held at New York City's Crosby Street Hotel on Monday, June 14.

She was accompanied on the photo call by her co-stars Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, and Jane Leeves who were all dressed up in black. Beside the main cast, there were also familiar faces on television such as Bryan Batt, Kristin Chenoweth, Christian Siriano, Raquel Welch, and Sean Hayes.

"Hot in Cleveland" is a new original series by TV Land that follows three Los Angeles career women stranded in Cleveland after a wrong flight. Together they decide to start a new life and occupy a house with White's character already living in it. The 88-year-old actress was originally intended to be a guest star only but since her homemaker character appeals to producers, then she was upped to a regular.

White recently promoted the show at "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" where she praised her co-stars. "All such pros and such great gals," she said. "We premiere on Wednesday (June 16), so Thursday is going to be a very big day, because you never know until the public gets a hold of it."
