2010 Oscars: 'Hurt Locker' and 'Crazy Heart' Added to Early Winners List

The Kathryn Bigelow-directed movie wins Best Original Song, while 'Crazy Heart' soundtrack is named Best Original Song.

AceShowbiz - Following "Up" and Christoph Waltz's victory, two more winners have been announced during the Sunday live ceremony of 2010 Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater. It is now "Crazy Heart" and "The Hurt Locker" 's turn to walk home with a coveted prize each.

Announced by Amanda Seyfried and Miley Cyrus, "Crazy Heart" wins Best Original Song. The film's soundtrack titled "The Weary Kind" beat other theme songs from such movies as "The Princess and the Frog", "Paris 36" and "Nine".

Ryan Bingham and T-Bone Burnett, the masterminds behind the film soundtrack, come onto the stage to collect the prize. During the acceptance speech, Ryan says on behalf of him and T-Bone who stays quiet.

"Thank you so much. I'd like to thank my wife Anna, I love you more than rainbows, baby. My uncle Clay, my band, Jack Whigham, Scott Cooper, the cast of 'Crazy Heart', Jeff and Maggie and Colin and Mr. Bob. Everyone at Fox Searchlight and Mr. T-Bone Burnett and Stephen Bruton. Thank you all so much," he states.

As for "The Hurt Locker", the film starring Jeremy Renner is announced by Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey as the winner of Best Original Screenplay. The statuette is then handed by the "Iron Man" star and "Baby Mama" actress to its scribe Mark Boal.

"You honor me and humble me with this. More than, more than you know. I was a reporter back from Iraq with the idea for a story about these men on the frontlines of an unpopular war," Mark delivers his speech. "I would also like to thank and dedicate this to the troops, the 115,000 who are still in Iraq, the 120,000 in Afghanistan and the more than 30,000 wounded and 4,000 who have not made it home. And to my father, who didn't live to see this, but inspired me and got me up here."
