Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli to Hook Up at Grammys for Haiti

They are scheduled to sing a rendition of Simon and Garfunkel's classic song at the awards event which will be held at the end of this month.

AceShowbiz - Another fund-raising event to support the victims of Haitian earthquake has been staged. This time, organizers for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards have booked Mary J. Blige to make a duet performance with Andrea Bocelli and sing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" for the cause.

Their performance will then be made available for download following the telecast with all proceeds going to American Red Cross. In addition to benefiting the relief effort, it also marks the 40th anniversary of Simon & Garfunkel's classic song receiving Grammy trophies for Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli's performance is not the only tribute show at the January 31 ceremony. Carrie Underwood, Usher, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and Smokey Robinson will also take the stage, paying homage to Michael Jackson.

Other musical acts include Lady GaGa, Pink, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum, Beyonce Knowles, Maxwell and Bon Jovi.

As for presenters, the organizers have booked the likes of Jonas Brothers, Ke$ha, Norah Jones, LL Cool J, Carlos Santana, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kristen Bell, Josh Duhamel, Ricky Martin and Jeff Bridges.
