After hesitation and a warning to Ellen, Jennifer gave in and sang a phrase of Ella Fitzgerald classic 'I've Got a Crush on You'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Aniston did Ellen DeGeneres a favor when she appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday, September 16. To Ellen, the actress showed a side of her which was never revealed publicly, singing. Given a single spotlight and handed a mic, Jennifer picked "I've Got a Crush on You" to sing.

Jennifer was actually there to promote her latest romcom "Love Happens" but the conversation continued to her next project "The Goree Girls" where she is playing one of the singers. Asked by Ellen whether she sings in real life, Jennifer answered "I sing a tune or two". The host quickly took the opportunity to force her displaying the talent live.

Initially hesitant because Dave Matthews was on the backstage waiting for his turn to sing on the show, Jennifer did it anyway. "I'm absolutely mortified that you actually did that to me," she said after finishing. Ellen then joked, "I will put you to the next round", in regard to her new position as the judge of "American Idol".

"Love Happens" arrives in U.S. theaters Friday, September 18 while "The Goree Girls" is in pre-production stage with the release aimed for 2010.
