Though she has yet to see the script for the sequel to Disney Original Movie 'Camp Rock', actress/singer Demi Lovato fesses up that she wants her character to be funnier.

AceShowbiz - Expected to reprise her role as Mitchie Torres in "Camp Rock 2", Demi Lovato opens up to MTV what she knows about the sequel to 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, "Camp Rock". While excited to work for the follow-up movie, the 16-year-old confesses that she is yet to read the script.

"I haven't seen the script yet," the Jonas Brothers's co-star in the TV movie revealed. "I know just as much as you do, and I don't even know when I'm filming it other than this fall." Despite the fact, she shared that she has some ideas for her characters, stating, "I'd like her to stay the same, maybe a little more true to herself. I guess funnier."

A sequel to "Camp Rock", "Camp Rock 2" is reported to begin production as early as late spring 2009 with all of the principal cast, including Demi Lovato, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, expected to return. Frankie Jonas, the youngest of the Jonas, is rumored to make a special appearance in the movie.

Previously, Gary Marsh, the president of Entertainment for Disney Channel World, has confirmed that a script for "Camp Rock 2" is nearly finished. This TV movie is scheduled to be debuted on June 7.

Demi Lovato has made her big break in the entertainment industry when she starred opposite Jonas Brothers in "Camp Rock". Following that, she also makes a guest performance in the musical trio's 3D film, "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience", and will be seen starring as Rosie in "Princess Protection Program".
