Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb, writers and executive producers for 'Heroes' have been axed from the series after three seasons collaboration.

AceShowbiz - Rating and margin problems that revolve around NBC's science fiction series, "Heroes", go further by the axing of the series' co-executive producers off from their duties. It has been exclusively reported by Variety that Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb are leaving the three years old series that they have been working on since the first season.

In the production of the series, both Alexander and Loeb were working together as the show's writers as well as producers, leading the production operation under the direction of Tim Kring, the series' creator and executive producer. Loeb is expert in his field, creating stories or characters as he has done in comic books "Batman", "The Hulk", and "Superman For All Seasons". Meanwhile, Alexander has rolled the same position as co-executive producer in "Lost" and "Alias".

It is believed that the losing of Alexander and Loeb is caused by Peacock execs' frustration with the creative direction of the show. "Heroes" are suffering from its rating and budget for its third season is running high. In fact, there are also some critics saying that the series' new season has lost its sense of zeitgeist-tapping appeal.

In the meantime, "Heroes" is coming for its 3.08 episode on November 10. The "Villains" is a kind of flashback episode which revolves around Hiro's efforts to get more informations about Arthur Petrelli, Sylar, and Flint's past life in order to prepare for an eventual showdown from his enemies. Hiro discovers the mystery behind Petrelli's reasons in creating a rival company Pinehearst and his hatred towards Angela. While Sylar is stricken by guilt attempting to stop his murderous ways with HRG and Elle vying for his blood, Meredith's training goes up in smoke with the arrival of her brother.

Guest starring Ron Perkins, "Villains" is scheduled to air on NBC, November 10 at 9/8c. The clip below features Arthur and Angela talking about Linderman and Nathan on "Villains".
