A representative for Lindsay Lohan has quashed Internet reports that the actress-singer is about to do a missionary work in India, insisted "per Lindsay, this isn't true."

AceShowbiz - Has been keeping herself away from both the music and movie industries following her recreation of the late Marilyn Monroe's "Last Sitting" for New York Magazine's February 25, 2008 issue, Lindsay Lohan finds herself at the center of media attention yet again with Internet reports stating that she's about to do missionary work in India. A representative for her, in fact, denied the reports, insisted "this isn't true."
U.S. tabloid In Touch claimed to have cited Lindsay's father Michael Lohan as saying that his celebrity daughter has signed up to do missionary work with Times Square Church Missions and is also considering other international missions. "She has made it clear she definitely wants to come along," the publication quoted Michael as saying.
Michael, furthermore, told In Touch that "Our trip next February encompasses the issue of child sexual slavery in India. We also deal with helping AIDS victims." On Lindsay's involvement in the missionary work, he commented "Lindsay's very spiritual. She has a wonderful heart, loves people and is very charitable."
Lindsay's representative however laughed off the missionary story, telling the New York Daily News "per Lindsay, this isn't true."
Lindsay recreated Monroe's 1962 "The Last Sitting", appeared naked on the cover of New York Magazine, covered up only by a see through pink scarf. Her version of "The Last Sitting", which was done by famed photographer Bert Stern who also shot Monroe's "Last Sitting" which was done at the Hotel Bel-Air in California six weeks before she was found dead from an overdose of barbiturates, proved so popular that the magazine's website crashed under the massive volume of hits.
