Paul McCartney gives "Dance Tonight", the first single from upcoming album, a worldwide exposure through YouTube.

AceShowbiz - Paul McCartney goes international for the music video of "Dance Tonight". The song that is made the first single from upcoming release "Memory Almost Full" will premiere worldwide on YouTube on May 23 at 12 noon (UK time).

The video will be displayed and promoted through the 'Director Videos' slots, which is the most accessed feature in the homepage. In the video that presents the work of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" director Michel Gondry and actress Natalie Portman, mandolin plays a huge part. Portman appears as a futurist electronic ghost that reacts to the sound of the mandolin.

"Memory Almost Full" will hit US stores on June 5 and has been denied by McCartney as a nostalgic album. "I wouldn't use the word nostalgia so much. Nostalgia implies something a bit soppy - it's not a sort of very complimentary word. I would use the word 'memory' more, because I think a lot of artists use memories."

Meanwhile, getting back in his writing mode, McCartney is in the process of writing another album with a new concept. "I've got a guitar piece in the works - an orchestral guitar concerto. And I've got a photographic project I've been working on for a while. It's nice to have a bit of variety."
