Talks on the reunion of Jackson Five is supported by Jermaine Jackson, but is obstructed by Michael Jackson's issues.

AceShowbiz - A potential reunion for Jackson Five is on. Telling the UK television show, "This Morning" on January 30, Jermaine Jackson has claimed that the Jacksons are planning to record an album and possibly, a tour.
As a start, Jermaine is in the process of producing a musical record of Jackson Five that tapes the band's journey starting from its early career through the glorious days. Moreover, it has been reported that the brothers will hold worldwide tours and also 250 concerts in Vegas, the venue in which Michael Jackson is enthusiastic to make a dramatic comeback. Rumor has it that following the concerts, several casinos, stadiums and hotels will be constructed to celebrate the King of Pop's return.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson's side of story is a little more complicated. Though hoping to get an estimated $500 million through the reunion, he is currently hands full of other issues to face.
First of all, the comeback album that has been talked about but not yet released. The reports on collaboration with will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas, Akon and other artists are apparently enough to keep him busy since the work began in May 2006. Secondly, the battered public image that he has to deal with after the child molestation case.
Also, he has to tackle the questions erupting over his competency in performing and reviving the "Thriller" zest. This is said to be the main reason on why Jackson Five are reunited first. Offered a recording and managing deal but a smaller wage, it is considered as a good warming up for Michael.
Jackson Five has been an iconic band in early 70s and considered as the biggest phenomenon in pop music industry. The band that was formed in 1962 and ended in 1990 consists of five Jackson brothers; Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine, and Michael.
