AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, and Kristin Cavallari. What is going on with them? Following rumors linked Kristin to Nick, recent issue on the street mentions that the former Laguna Beach star is being considered to take over Jessica's movie role.
The report sparked was prompted with a statement made by the producer of last year's "The Dukes of Hazzard," Bill Gerber who tells People magazine in its new issue that he is working on a prequel to the movie and considers Kristin as just perfect to fill out those Daisy Duke shorts.
"She's at the top of the list," he says while adding "I like her innocence and her beauty." Being asked on why doesn't he stick with Simpson, the producer simply said "It's a prequel, like Batman (Begins), We're going for a whole new cast."
