Buckley's Chance is a 1990 Australian drama film directed by Peter Duncan and starring Bill Hunter, Bryan Brown, and Kevin Colson. It is based on the novel of the same name by Morris West.
The film tells the story of Barney (Hunter), a young man who is sent to live with his aunt and uncle in the outback of Australia. Barney is a troubled and rebellious youth, but he finds a new sense of purpose when he befriends a wild horse named Buckley. Together, Barney and Buckley learn about the importance of friendship, loyalty, and forgiveness.
