"Piercing" is an upcoming horror film directed by Nicolas Pesce. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ryū Murakami. The film stars Mia Wasikowska as Reed, a woman who meets a mysterious man named Chris (Christopher Abbott) and becomes obsessed with him. Chris is a loner who works as a hotel clerk and has a dark past. Reed becomes increasingly drawn to Chris's dark side, and the two of them embark on a dangerous and twisted relationship.
