Thelma is a 2017 Norwegian supernatural horror film directed by Joachim Trier and starring Eili Harboe, Kaya Wilkins, Henrik Rafaelsen, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, and Grethe Eltervåg. The film follows Thelma, a young woman who moves to Oslo to attend university and discovers she has supernatural powers. She struggles to control her powers and keep them a secret from her friends and family. The film premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in Norway on 15 September 2017. It was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $10 million worldwide.
