Ten Days in the Valley is an American crime drama television series that premiered on ABC on October 1, 2017. The series follows Jane Sadler, a police detective who is investigating the disappearance of her daughter, Lake. The series stars Kyra Sedgwick, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Erika Christensen, and Daisy Betts. The series was created by Tassie Cameron and is based on the novel of the same name by Dorothy Allison. In the fourth episode of the first season, "Day Four: The Rope", Jane continues to investigate Lake's disappearance while also dealing with the fallout from the murder of her husband, Paul. The episode features a number of flashbacks to Paul's murder, and Jane begins to suspect that he was involved in something illegal.
