Mac DeMarco, the slacker king of indie rock, returns with a laid-back cover of Neil Young's "Unknown Legend." The video, directed by DeMarco himself, is a fittingly lo-fi affair, with the singer and his band performing in a dimly lit room. DeMarco's vocals are as hushed and intimate as ever, and the arrangement is sparse and dreamy. The overall effect is one of quiet contemplation, as DeMarco's voice floats effortlessly over the gentle strumming of his guitar.
