The Founder (2016) follows the true story of Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a milkshake machine salesman who saw potential in the McDonald's brothers' (Nick Offerman and John Carroll Lynch) speedee service system. Despite being initially turned down, Kroc's persistence and business savvy led him to negotiate a deal that would give him control of the company. This clip from the film shows Kroc meeting with the McDonald brothers for the first time in San Bernardino, California, in 1954. Impressed by their innovative concept, Kroc proposes a partnership to expand the McDonald's franchise nationwide.
