In a haunting and evocative lyric video, Leonard Cohen's posthumous masterpiece "You Want It Darker" takes on a new dimension. The video, released on August 31, 2016, complements the somber and introspective nature of the song with stark black-and-white imagery. Composed of a collage of intimate photographs and handwritten lyrics, the video offers a glimpse into Cohen's own mortality and the themes of darkness and redemption that permeate his final work.
