Moana is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated musical adventure comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The 56th Disney animated feature film, it is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and produced by Osnat Shurer, with a screenplay by Jared Bush. The film tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian village chief, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with a goddess. Featuring the voices of Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana and Dwayne Johnson as Maui, the film is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 23, 2016.
