"Alice Through the Looking Glass" is an upcoming American fantasy adventure film directed by James Bobin and written by Linda Woolverton. The film is based on the 1871 novel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll. It is the sequel to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland. The film stars Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Rhys Ifans. The film is scheduled to be released on May 27, 2016, by Walt Disney Pictures.
