"Mercy Street 1.02" is the second episode of the first season of the American period drama television series "Mercy Street." The episode was written by David Zabel and directed by Roxann Dawson. It aired on PBS on January 17, 2016. The episode follows the staff and patients of the Mansion House Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, as they deal with the aftermath of the Battle of Shiloh. The episode also introduces new characters, including Dr. Jedediah Foster (Josh Radnor) and Sister Mary Phinney (Cara Seymour).
