Ride Along 2 is a 2016 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Tim Story and written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The film stars Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, who reprise their roles from the first film. The film follows Ben Barber (Hart), a police officer who has been assigned to ride along with James Payton (Cube), a detective who is investigating a drug case.
