The Dressmaker is an upcoming Australian film directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse. The film stars Kate Winslet as Myrtle "Tilly" Dunnage, a dressmaker who returns to her small hometown of Dungatar after her mother's death. Tilly was acquitted of murder as a child, and her return to town stirs up old memories and secrets. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Rosalie Ham.
