Descendants is a 2015 American musical fantasy television film directed by Kenny Ortega and starring Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, and Booboo Stewart. The film follows the teenage children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil as they are sent to Auradon, a kingdom ruled by Belle and the Beast, to attend prep school with the children of their parents' archenemies. The film premiered on the Disney Channel on July 31, 2015.

Carlos is a skilled thief who is initially reluctant to join the other VKs (Villain Kids) in their quest to steal the Fairy Godmother's wand. However, he eventually comes around and proves to be a valuable member of the team.
