The New Girlfriend is an upcoming American drama film directed by François Ozon and starring Anaïs Demoustier, Romain Duris, and Raphaël Personnaz. The film is based on Ruth Rendell's 2014 novel of the same name. The film tells the story of Claire (Demoustier), a young woman who is dating Gilles (Duris), a married man. When Gilles's wife, Laura (Personnaz), dies in a car accident, Claire is devastated. However, she soon discovers that Laura was not who she seemed to be.
