Lacey Moran, a lotto winner, leaves a camping trip with her best friends, Trish, Jeff, and Eliot, to have a meeting with the Co-op board at her new apartment she purchased with her fresh lottery winnings. Lacey reminisces with her friends about the ways they used to struggle and then she drives off the campgrounds to her newly charmed life... and vanishes.
Our agents interview her boyfriend, Jeff, who explains that since Lacey been feeling really guilty about coming into so much money when there are so many other people in need. Jeff explains that among the many people Lacey was trying to help, she made promises to a drug addict get them clean. But when she rescinded the offer, he followed her to the campground. Is the drug addict responsible for her disappearance? Upon further investigation, our agents find that there were several people who were after Lacey's newly found winnings -- and some of them were far from strangers. Ultimately, Lacey's desire to do the right thing became her greatest downfall.
