After accidentally shooting at George, Jack finally admits he's having trouble sleeping and George urges him to see Dr. Fields. Kathy invites Ethan over to study algebra while her grandmother is out; Ethan wants to do more than study. Ricky has to miss class and work to watch John since Amy is in NYC. Kathy's ex-boyfriend, DON, unexpectedly shows up at Kathy's house hoping to see his baby and possibly call off the adoption. Ethan is suspicious of Don's motives. Leo asks Nora to urge George to use his sausage products for Geoff's Restaurant, but it turns out Ricky already convinced George to use Boykewich beef. Chloe tells Leo she suspects Ricky switched his flight so he could travel to NYC with Amy. Jack finally sees Dr. Fields and admits his vulnerability. Nora upsets Ricky when she suggests that he can raise John without Amy and maybe they shouldn't get married. Nora tells George she's going to use the money she saved up to move out of his house. Amy calls Ricky to tell him she's afraid of losing him. Jack finally goes to sleep at home, but he sleeps in the bed with his parents.
