Paige's big secret is revealed at last: her mother has been suffering from Major Depressive Disorder for years, which has recently worsened. When Ellen falls and hurts herself, she calls Hank for help and asks for his utmost discretion. Evan then catches Paige in the most recent lie she's been telling him to protect her mother's secret. Before she can explain, he jumps to the conclusion that his beloved Paige is cheating on him. The misunderstanding escalates and the couple breaks up. When Evan discovers Hank knows about Ellen's disorder but didn't tell him, it's more salt in the already gaping wound. And to top it off, General Collins is furious that Hank admitted his wife to the hospital without his permission and tells Hank to keep away from his family.

While all this is happening, Hank treats a fearful asthmatic boy whose actor parents are overseas on a shoot only to find that it's the boy's young nanny who is having the worrisome health problems.

Divya's first date with Dr. Paul Van Dyke is more fun than she expected; however, since Raj was her one and only boyfriend, she's not quite ready to do the backstroke in the dating pool quite yet. So when Paul suggests they take it slow and get to know each other as friends first, Divya agrees, relieved that the pressure's off.
