On one of the hottest days of the summer, Hank decides to take a run. When a leg cramp causes him to tumble to the ground in pain, it's a fellow runner, Jane, who knows how to work it out properly. In thank her for her help, Hank gives the two-time World Champion runner and new mom a physical to figure out why lately she's been weak and feverish after her runs. Little does he realize that the "nurse" at Hamptons Heritage who ultimately helps solve Jane's medical mystery is actually Divya.
Just when Boris seems to have finally found happiness with Marisa and his new baby son, Carlos, he starts to exhibit strange symptoms that he worries is the onset of his hereditary disease. But after seeing how rapidly Boris deteriorates and learning that Jill's car crash was no accident, Hank has a hunch that something way more sinister is going on. It soon becomes a life-and-death race against the clock.
