It turns out that Eddie's surprise is a doozy: Hank and Evan's grandpa is alive and well and living in Palm Beach. He also happens to be Eddie's home detention sponsor. But even after forty years of not speaking to his son or grandsons, the reunion with Ted Roth has hardly been smooth sailing, as he and Eddie haven't put their gripes to rest. Unfortunately, the ongoing tension doesn't bode well for Eddie's imminent parole hearing, especially since Ted is supposed to appear as his son's primary character witness. Hopefully Evan's plan to bond with Grandpa Ted will not only convince him to stand up for Eddie but it might repair the family rift and bring ''Grandpa'' back into their lives.
Back in the Hamptons, Divya has her hands full running between the neonatal unit to keep an eye on Boris and Marisa's newborn son and the ER, where Jill is brought in after she's injured in a hit-and-run car crash in Boris's limo. After the ''blush'' on the CT scan proves to be anomaly and not a hemorrhage, Jill's in for a full recovery...even if she can't remember exactly what happened. But even with only one telling detail, Boris immediately knows that the crash was no accident. Now that he's a father, he's more determined than ever to protect his interests - both professional and personal - even if it means hiring more ex-Massad bodyguards to do the job.
