Eight strangers have come together to pursue their city sized dreams while experiencing all that Brooklyn has to offer. But all of these Real World roommates have secrets of their own and only some of them will be able to keep quiet for so long.

Chet has already expressed his curiosities about Katelynn but now is inquisitive about JD's sex life as a gay man. JD isn't ready to tell Chet all the dirty details since he's not completely sure if Chet is truly open minded.

Katelynn feels that she's comfortable enough with Sarah to come out about being transgendered and talks about getting her operation in Thailand. Sarah doesn't feel like her thoughts about Katelynn have changed at all and agrees with Katelynn's decision.

Chet and JD have become the pranksters of the house and start to mess around with JD using an alarm clock that sounds like a doorbell. Then JD sees that there is a banana in the fish tank with a condom on it and he believes that it could be Chet after Chet had already commented on JD's condom stash.

JD tells the roommates that he's almost positive that Chet went through his stuff and Sarah agrees to talk to Chet. When Sarah sits down with Chet, he denies everything. JD then decides to confront Chet but Chet still denies ever going through JD's things.

Baya brings Katelynn and Sarah to a dance class that she finds as she starts to pursue her dream of dancing in the city. On the ride back to the house, Katelynn comes out to Baya and tells her about being a transgender. Katelynn also tells Baya that she doesn't plan on revealing herself to Chet or JD.

Some of the roommates go out for the night and Ryan is dared to kiss a drag queen at a gay bar. Ryan kissed the drag queen on the lips and then called his girlfriend to admit that he kissed someone else but that she shouldn't worry about anything.

Baya heads to a dance class and brings Ryan, Sarah and Devyn along for support. At the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory, Baya is surprised by the choreographer's military style during the audition. Baya can't seem to get the moves down and gets cut from the group after too many missteps.

Back at the Brooklyn house, Chet welcomes his mom and sisters and brings them inside to meet all of the roommates. Chet and Ryan bring Chet's family out in Brooklyn and then they tell Chet's family that JD is gay. Chet's family gives a tearful goodbye to all of the roommates before heading back to Salt Lake City.

JD tells the roommates that his father stole his identity he might have to go to court to clean up what his father did to his credit. JD sees that Chet has a strong relationship with his family and wishes he had the same back home.

Baya gets a call from Safi Thomas, the Director of the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory about her audition evaluation. The Director tells Baya that she has been accepted as a student, but Baya turns down the offer.

JD talks to the police department from Florida about his dad stealing his identity and finds out that his dad confessed to everything. JD is still angry about the situation and doesn't know if he can just forgive his dad for ruining his credit.

Later on, JD comes home drunk and yells about a store clerk being an immigrant and not understanding English. Chet gets offended by JD's comments and starts to get in JD's face. The two guys start to yell back and forth while Baya tries to break up the fight. JD tells Chet that he'll back off this time but the next time "it's not going to be pretty" and tells Chet to go back to his Bible.

The next day, Baya decides to check out another dance studio to see if this one will be the right fit for her. Baya feels more comfortable with this choreographer and believe she'll stay in order to train for future dance auditions.

Chet and JD sit down to talk about their fight the night before. JD apologizes to Chet for not opening up sooner but that he has had a tough life. Chet believes that JD is being genuine and decides to bury the hatchet.

On the next Real World, love is in the air for some of the roommates as they start to open up and get cozy in the Brooklyn house.
