"A" texts Mona demanding she deliver Hanna's shoplifting report to the cops -- or Mona will take the fall for shoplifting a necklace. Mona surprises Hanna and takes the fall, earning some newfound respect from the Little Liars.
Emily is very concerned about Maya because she's not returning any of her phone calls. And Paige admits to Emily that she came out to her parents and tries to tell Emily that Maya is not a stable companion for her. When she tries to kiss Emily, Emily apologizes and goes to call Maya yet again and she still receives no answer. Later, the police show up -- wanting to talk to Emily about Maya.
After Ezra admits he's afraid he and Aria can't continue to make things work, Ella confronts Aria and Ezra and says she wants to understand their relationship because she fears she may lose Aria if she doesn't. Meanwhile, Ella and Ashley are beginning to question who is hurting their girls.
Caleb sends a new file of "A's" video in Ali's room and we see that Melissa was with the NAT club the night that Ali died. Spencer is determined to confront Melissa and see how she is involved with Ali and the NAT club. But when she tries to meet up with her sister, Melissa bails. Spencer ends up turning to Wren for comfort. Later, the Little Liars get an address from Jonah and track it to an abandoned legal office. And it turns out Melissa used to intern that that exact legal office.
