Spencer finds some things in the attic at the lake house and is certain "A" has been hiding out there. A receipt she discovers leads Spencer and Aria on a search to Philadelphia. At first they believe the search is a bust, but Spencer eventually winds up at a rehabilitation center for the blind where Jenna was once a patient. The Little Liars realize that Jenna had more mobility than they realized in the blind school. In fact, Garrett checked her out of the school on the night Ali died.
Meanwhile, the Little Liars are dealing with the aftermath of the confrontation between Lucas and Hanna on the boat at Spencer's lake house. Lucas has called home and tells his parents he's alive but no one has seen him. The girls think he might have been convinced by "A" to be "A's" helper -- and Hanna now fears that he's after her. Later, Lucas sneaks into Hanna's house to see her. She's freaked, but Lucas then admits to Hanna that he was trying to tell her on the boat that he accidentally lost all of Caleb's money that Caleb had stashed around when he left for California and he was hoping she could help him tell him.
Elsewhere, Emily becomes suspicious when Maya starts to receive odd texts. But it turns out they are from a guy Maya saw while she was away. Holden and Aria decide to join forces to keep things from their parents. And Noel breaks up with Mona.
