Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley's (Bethany Joy Galeotti) financial struggles force Nathan to approach Dan (Paul Johansson) for help. In spite of his heart condition, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) decides to rejoin the Ravens, teaming him with Skills (Antwon Tanner).
Feeling isolated and alone, Peyton (Hilarie Burton) finds comfort from an unlikely source, while Brooke (Sophia Bush) begins dating again, but discovers that her new boyfriend (guest star Reynaldo Valentin) is not all that he seems to be. Mouth (Lee Norris) receives an unexpected proposal, and an old acquaintance of Dan's, Daunte (guest star Rick Fox, "Oz"), shows a sudden interest in Nathan.
