Synopsis

POWERS OF PERSUASION - A Harlem neighborhood is shaken when two young boys stumble on the body of a popular community leader beaten to death in his community center. Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) investigate possible enemies the victim could have had and quickly learn that he may have had more than just 'friends' in the community who owe him favors. District Attorneys McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) struggle to prevent a political disaster by convicting the correct murderer before the community turns itself upside down in anger and grief.
