Synopsis

ANGIE HARMON JOINS THE CAST AS ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY ABBIE CARMICHAEL -- The investigation into the death of an adopted baby girl leads Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) to uncover secrets an adoptive family was desperately trying to hide. When the baby's brother turns out to be an abusive and disturbed young boy, Assistant District Attorney McCoy (Sam Waterston) and his new headstrong partner, Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael, try to prove it was murder.
