Synopsis

THE AVENGERS -- When a partially dressed corpse is discovered, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) find themselves faced with a dead FBI witness, an overeager hitman and a Mafia capo who's finding it hard to remember his own name. Schiff (Steven Hill) pushes to prosecute the mob for murder but complications force McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Ross (Carey Lowell) to find other alternatives.
