Synopsis

TOUGH-AS-NAILS JUDGE BECOMES TARGET FOR MURDER -- When Judge Linda Karlin (guest star Roxanne Hart) escapes a murder attempt in which her assailant is killed, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) must determine which of Karlin's many enemies ordered the hit on the very strict and unpopular judge. Though it was proven that just days before the murder attempt the hitman had made a prison visit to Randall Wylie (guest star David Wohl), a CPA awaiting trial by Judge Karlin for embezzlement, A.D.A.s McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Carmichael (Angie Harmon) have trouble making their case against this unlikely suspect.
